Outreach

Every Sunday, we are sent out from worship by the proclamation to, Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. At Bethel, we recognize that we are commanded as Christians, to love our neighbors as ourselves. We strive to do so through our monetary contributions and by doing good works both locally and globally. We invite you to join with us in caring for one another and for our creation.

Be a “Super Hero”

Once again, Bethel’s March Food Drive is coming up. This year’s drive is being organized and led by our Y.E.S. (Youth Energized to Serve) youth and adults. The theme they’ve chosen is Be a “Super Hero”. As in recent years, we’re looking forward to kicking off the drive on Sunday, February 28th, when Jim Blaha, the director of the Community Action Center will be a featured Temple Talk speaker during worship. The need is especially significant this year in light of our economy. Please plan to be a part of this important effort by bringing your donations of cash and non-perishable food items to Bethel during the month of March.
